Turn Signal Problem

Well, this one was different. Tonight, while backing into my driveway, I did the "legal" thing and put on my right turn signal to let other traffic know my intentions. While in Drive with foot on the brake, all was well and the blinker flashed normally. When I put it into Reverse it stopped flashing all-together and the arrow indicator light on the dash dimmed. Once in Park, all worked like normal. Oh, and the problem didn't happen with the left turn signal on either.

Looked up a few things here but didn't see anything exactly like my issue. Could it be a flasher problem? Wires/connection problem?

All your help is appreciated!

Sounds like a wire problem in the steering column. Pull the covers off and trase the wire off the multifunction switch and look for any rubs, binds, or cuts in the wire.

cdnance - you shouldn't drink and post! Funny though!
