light came on. used my xcal2 to see what it said. came up w/ nothing. took it to ford dealership pulled my truck up to service department guy said it wouldnt be in warranty due to lift. this was the dealership i bought the truck from. i asked him why. he said the lift would most likely mess up air bag system. what i dont get is why. the lift did not touch any sensors as far as i no. i was thinking taking it to another dealership that uses lifts on new trucks to see what they would say. any help would be great.

also any body no houston, tx dealerships who dont void warranty due to lifts

 

You have to be more specific about the air bag light. In order to determine your problem you must check the number of flashes it does forexample, four flashes then a pause then two flashes. A lift kit would not have anything to do with the light. The dealership is giving you a bunch of b*******. They are just blowing you off.

 

ya i kinda figured they were blowing me off. it stays solid. it flashes when i turn key to on. is that when i count the flashes?

 

Yes that is what you do. Just turn it on dont start. The light will flash in sequences which will give you the trouble code/codes
