Not a F-150, but a Mustang question.

So I need a little help with my buddies (I think its a 65-70 Boss Mustang).

When he starts it up, the gauges work as normal. After a few minutes of running though... the gauges drop down like the car is turned off. He's checked grounds and everything and cannot figure out the problem.

Any ideas?

First thing I can think of to check would be the voltage regulator & alternator...other than that, I don't know...

I don't suppose he wants to sell it, eh? I've been looking for a decent '70 fastback (preferably a mach1) for about 15 years now...
