I just purchased a 2008 F150XL. I installed DRL. I know some people don't like them but I get a insurance discount. I did not drive the truck at night before I installed the DRL. On the 2008 when you turn on the headlights do the parking lights also come on. Mine are on and i want to make sure that they are supposed to be on are did I make a mistake wiring the DRL?

Im from canada, so mine's equipped with the DRL from the get-go, and my turn on as soon as I cycle my key, and stay on no matter what setting the dial is on.

DRL make you more noticeable, nothing wrong with that.
