fog light mod help

ok, so i have a 2002 screw with factory fogs & i did the mod as stated in the tech pages
i filed down the collar & it allows me to pull the switch out to turn on the fogs in auto, parks, & headlamps
i then preceded to splicing the #2 wire (white/black) with the #12 wire (brown)
& my fogs still wont turn on with my parks
did i do something wrong?
what did i miss?
any help is greatly appreciated

So which mod are you trying to do? I looked and didn't see what one you were following and can't really help too much......Did you check the fuse?

Ok, this is all guessing so bear with me.

I guess you got a relay and hooked it up to your fog lights to terminals 30 and 87 and your headlights to terminal 85? If this is correct, you probably wanted to connect the relay terminal 85 to the parking light wire, not the headlight wire.

thanks for the help but i decided to pull everything back apart & check it & i guess the splice wasnt good enough because i squeezed the splice down more & now it works perfect.
thanks again for the help
