Just a question:

I got airborne in my truck this morning, and my stereo went out when i landed! HAHA

do you think i just blew a fuse?
and if so, can you tell me where the fuse box is located on a '05 f150?

I'm not mechanically inclined, so please spare me with the sarcastic remarks. I got enough of them on the FTE forums.

It's behind the kick panel on the right hand wall below the glove box (passenger side obviously). As I recall, you pull on it at the front and it will come off. Then, you have to open the fuse box and find the fuse.

This is all in your owner's manual. But if you don't have one, you can download one for free from: https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenan...ls/default.asp

And not a single sarcastic remark! Wait, were you thinking you were actually in your airplane when this happened?

Good luck though. I don't really see how a hard landing would hurt a fuse. However, the best approach is to eliminate the simple possibilities first and that is what you're doing. I should ask, did you try turning it off and then back on?

Airborne! Sweet! Your my hero! I got airborne once and it was a blast! My passanger kept screaming. I would have said something to her but she is my wife. LOL. Good luck on the stereo. I have not had my truck long enough to know where it is.
