Check Engine Light

On my 98 F150 is there anyway I can pull my own codes, without a scanner??

No, all OBDII requires a code read or scanner.

go to autozone, and buy the OBDII scanner. its like $100, but saves you all the trouble of drving back and forth to autozone or the dealership...i carry one with me.

Option 1: Go to AutoZone, they scan for free

Option 2: Buy a ScanGauge 2, it comes as a scanner and much much more for only $150.
