Airbag

I have a 1997 F150. The airbag light is on all the time and gives me no flash code. What does this mean?

Means that the R.C.M. disconnected or inoperative or a loss of battery feed or loss of signal ground. The R.C.M. is mounted under the drivers seat. If you had any type of work with or under the seats the modules connector might have come loose. Very common problem when shampooing rugs. Bob

The system has to be depowered in order to go any further. I am using a 2007 maual and there may be some subtle differences in the diagnostics. I would suggest that youtry to get a hold of a factory manual(or CD) for the vehicle. You can sometimes find them on EBay Cheap.I could give you the procedures but I cannot guarantee their accuracy because of the year diffeerential. Bob
