Deleting adjustable pedals 01 screw

The vibration through the adjustable pedals on the 01 I just picked up is driving me crazy. How bad will it be to change this over to standard pedals? Everyone tells me to get used to it as all adjustables do it and changing them out is too much trouble. I refuse to drive this way and will sell it and buy one with non adjustables if that's the case. Thanks, Tim.

Should jut be a straight replacement, just make sure to get the complete bracket for the new pedals. You will have a open connector from the adjustable pedal connector.

I think the pedals came out in '01 [not sure]. I have used mine once and noticed when it moves its jerky.

funny, i just did the reverse of what you are trying to do. b/c i am only 5'3'', i needed the adjustables in order to drive comfortably. your swap will be simpler than mine was. however, you will need to "deal" with the defunct button in your dash, or have a hole. i cut a hole in mine, so i can't give you my dash piece. i will sell you my set of nonadjustables for 1/2 or less of what ford wants. they only were in use for 30k miles, let me know if you are interested. the full bracket will be included. my email is minimonster17 at homail dot com.
