CD changing when I turn on the truck

This may be the wrong place to post if it is im sorry. When i turn my truck on the cd's start changing. I only have one cd in there i think but it makes that noise when you try to put a cd in. It doesnt do it every time it does it randomly, somtimes it will do it 5 or so times a day and than it wont do it at all for a while. I probly am doing a terrible job of explaining this. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this or if anyone has had this problem.

thanks,
Travis

it would be nice if we had the model and trim of the truck you have.
and if you have a in dash changer as well.

im going to assume you do have the in dash changer, and that when you turn it over, the CD player is scanning all the slots to determine what slot has a CD and whats on the CD. i really wouldnt worry about it.

as for the intermittence of it happening. it sounds like the radio is somehow not remembering what is on the CD, and it has to scan them all over again.

try and get it to do it if you just turn the key to the ACC position, dont actually crank the truck. (im wondering if when you crank the truck the battery voltage is dropping too low and its wiping the CD memory.)

oh...btw...im just shooting you ideas to check, i could be completely wrong.
