As I had mentioned in a previous post I plan on converting my Cargo lights into Green LED wig wags....well I have all the parts now(Green led Bulbs, Led wig wag controller) everything works in my mockup on my bench......now! I had the Cargo lens off....disconnected the harnesses....it appears the wires run across and down the rear passenger side rear door post(on my truck) .....would anybody know where they go from there? Along the door sill`s perhaps....I want to tap into the wires that feed the cargo lights..are they ponied off the interior dome lights or do they have some dedicated wires assigned to them? I don`t want to run seperate wires if I can at all avoid it.

 

The doule white cargo lights mounted on your 3rd brake light is fed from your interior dome light.

Just a question: Why green and why wig-wags on a 3rd brakelight?

 

up here in Ontario we use Green for Volunteer Firefighters......I thought this we be a nice little mod....I don`t use the Cargo light for cargo anyways....so why not adapt it to rear facing wig wags..
