I've got a 1999 F-150 that is equipped with remote keyless entry, but didn't get any fobs with it when I bought it. My coworker has a remote from his daughter's totalled 2002 Mercury Cougar that looks identical to the eBay photos of the one for the 1999 F-150 except that it has a 4th button for the trunk. The number on the back is CWTWB1U322, while the ones online for the F-150 are CWTWB1U331.

He gave it to me, but I cannot get it to program. I'd order one online, but it sure would be nice to make sure that there are no problems with the system first. My doors have always locked as soon as the ignition key is turned to the "ON" position, and I'm pretty sure that I've been unsuccessful in getting it into programming mode. I was under the impression that when you enter the programming mode, the locks should lock then unlock. Mine lock only.
