not once have i ever got pulled over due to my headlights in the past 4 years...
just aim them properly and your fine.. there are far too many vehicles out on the roads now for police to even know whats stock and whats not... 5 years ago maybe, not now..
I agree, you wont catch any heat for installing HIDs. I have the ultras in my headlights and HAD them in my foglights but they got burnt lol. I dont know if you all know that a 9005 (chevy high beam) will fit in the 99-03 foglights with modifying one of the tabs. I have the crystal clear stock fogs (like Built54's but diff shape) and after a 8 hour trip to Ocean City they bubbled the chrome backing and cracked the housing where they twist in. So moisture got in there and they are out.
As far a them lasting, the guy at Advanced Auto said they dont last as long as the regulars. Just what he said.
But I like em, I get flash pretty often since I cranked my torsion bars.

Hid
I have HID lights on my 1988 GMC conversion van, and had them on my 1998 Cadillac STS.
One problem with HID. If you go with them, be prepared to change all your vehicles to HID.
Nothing compares to them, and they will spoil you.
