no signal lights

no signal lights
when i have either heater on which does not blow or the head lights on i have no signal lights working they just light up in the cluster both of them at same time not flashing at all
tryed new head light switch and heat selecter but still nothin but do get a hummin noise pls help me i got no ideas
is a 97 f150 regulaur cab v-6 motor

Did you do any work under the dash, about inline with the steering wheel column ?
I ask as the flasher and the blower motor relay are both in the same aux hold ( I think still on your MY truck, I know '01 - 03 it is ).
Under the dash you would be looking for this about inline with the steering wheel column.
Sounds like the aux relay block might be missing a ground ( again if this is still the same on 97-00 MY trucks, should be ).
Take a look under the dash in that area, and see if a connector is part pulled apart, or if a ground is missing from it.
