The one I saw it was an ATM fuse under the harness tape. That was a recall harness revision 1. I think there were 3 revisions total.

it was made to be non serviceable.

From what I can tell there is no fuse in the harness, is it safe to assume that my cruise control module is bad then?

It is never a good thing to assume.

Unplug the recall harness, and jumper the end of the factory harness and rerun the CC self test.

Hey guy, I've been reading your posts. I have a 1998 Ford Expedition. The cruise does not work. The switch on the master cylinder has fluid inside it but I get a reaction on my volt meter when I touch the terminals as well as inside the harness. All my fuses under the dash are good and my horn works. The cruise worked this morning but this afternoon did not. What do you suggest?

VIN: I can send you in email

Expedition cruise

I have a 1998 Expedition. My cruise will not work. It worked this morning but this afternoon it did not. The switch on the master cylinder has fluid inside it but I get a reading on a volt meter when I touch the terminals. It is the recall jumper harness, so it's been replaced. I also get a reading on the volt meter when I touch the contacts inside the harness. All my fuses under the dash are good and my horn works just fine.

What would be the cause for this "all of the sudden" break of the cruise?
