Exclamation Horn Help Urgent Inspection Due

Hi, I just bought a 97 F150 V8 and I'm trying to fix my horn. I just spent 1500 at Ford getting the exhaust system repaired, so I've got to do this myself. I've replaced the relay and checked the fuse, but I can't find where the horn is located. Ford told me to disconnect and clean a plug on or near the horn but I can't located it. A diagram would be a wonderful help because I'm pretty clueless on trucks, especially since this is my first truck. And I need to get it done ASAP because the inspection is due and now that I have the Check Engine light off I still can't get it inspected. Please Help!!

Not sure on the 97 but on my 03 Screw it is up front behind the right side of the front bumper right where water easily gets in.

ya... it should be up near the bumper somewhere. Do you have a multi-meter? If so, have someone hit the horn while checking the voltage (DC) at the connector... if you have power, you need a new horn.

Wow what needed to be done to the Exhaust that it was that much.Let me guess Exhaust Manifolds and studs, then o2 sensor?I had almost $700 just in parts for my manifolds and the manifold stuffs from ford, I think the special studs for the 4.6 where like $16-18 per stud and I needed 16 of them.

Well it was the evac canister, o2 sensors, the entire fuel system had to be flushed out, and various other things because the prev owner let the truck sit for a year. It would have costed more but my brother works for Ford and got the work done with his discount.
