Galls Wig-Wag Wiring?

Okay, I get paid tomorrow and I'm looking to get the Galls 3-in-1 Wig-Wag headlight flashers, but theres different styles. A chart says that the "Positive switched system/direct wire" fit the '98 F-150, but I also see things such as "gound-side switched/DRL" and "Positive standard switched/DRL" and "grounded switch/direct wire" among others. Which do I need? I'm guessing since it directly says F001 (pos. switched/direct) fits my truck, I'll go with that, but just checking. Whats the difference between them all and how easy should this be to install? Thx!

He's not on AIM right now, but I know to ask him.

I'm not sure anymore if I'll be getting these. The directions looks complicated and dad won't like the idea of these on a non-commercial vehicle.
