Hazard Lights only work on Right Side????

I have a 1997 Ranger as a second truck to drive to work. We were on the interstate the other day and had to pull off and turned on my hazard lights. The dash lights work for both sides, but on the outside only the right side lights up. I have looked over the fuse box to see if a fuse was blown but didnt see anything. Anyone had this problem before, or have a idea to fix?

First question: Are the bulbs still good front and rear? (Continuity test)

Second question: Do those filaments work in other modes such as brake and turn signal?

Third question: Did you verify if you have power running to the sockets? (Test light)

Bulbs are good as they work when I normally use the turn signals. Do the bulbs use separate filaments for the hazard's? I could understand one not working but both and on the same side is kind of odd.

There are two filaments in your tail / stop and front parking / turn signal lights. One filament is used for parking lights and the other (brighter) one is used for stop / turn / hazard lights. The fact that the filaments work in the other modes says the problem is probably with the 4 way circuit. SSULLY, got a wiring diagram for a Ranger?

A wiring diagram would be awesome! It is almost like the switch is bad, or a relay is bad. But where to start is the problem. LOL!

If anybody's got a wiring diagram, it will be SSCULLY. Hopefully he'll chime in here.
