How to remove Mirror switch ??
2000 F150
How does one remove the drivers door power mirror control ?
I was advised to pry it up with a screwdriver. I tryed once already and couldn't get it to lift even a little. It is very tight fitting and I'm afraid of breaking it and scarring the molding. Do I just grit my teeth and pry harder?? Does one first remove the triangle piece the switch sits in ? If so how without breaking something?

saw your post this morning and I was hoping for a answer since iI have the same problem and same year model F150
Since there was no answers, it got the old mellon to thinking. I could not wait to get home and try to figure it out.
I was afraid i was going to have to pull off the door panel but, after poking around for a few minutes, i figured it out.
Following is a pictoral step by step of how i did it.(just tried posting but, limited to four pics.)

1st. pry up with fingernails and insert screwdriver
