07 Gas Gauge

i just put 30$ of gas in my truck, and the guage remained on empty and the light said low fuel..... eventually as i kept riding the gauge crept up to a quarter, and then stopped... i know that 30$ is a bit more than a quarter, about a quarter and a half.... so i was wondering what the hecks goin on here? is it the computer, or is it the thing in the tank? suggestions or info appreciated...

Honestly no idea - but $30 in my '05 (same tank) is exactly like you said, about 3/8 a tank. If it's an '07 give your local dealer a call!

If you let the gas get down to near empty, the guage can do wierd things the next time you gas up. Make sure the gas cap is on tight. I would just keep an eye on it and if it doesn't clear up, get it checked out.

Did you leave the truck running when fueling?

+1.. This could be caused by the Anti-Slosh module (mot sure if the F150 calls it that or not) but this will happen if you leave most newer vehicles running while refueling
