how many amps....

...is my 2002's FX4 5.4 Lariat alternator? Some say 95 others 130 from what I have read, any ideas? Went to the truck and checked it, has the 2 holes like the pic on the bottom, think someone upgraded or did the FX4 w/tow package come with the 130amp alt? Reason I want to know is because I have a Mark VIII electric fan I plan on installing soon.

Thanks

I don't see where it would matter for the fans. Any alternator will only put out the max amps for a few seconds after starting it. After that it will probably only put out 30 amps or so until it gets another heavy load on the battery.
I've never tested mine but the average 130 amp alternator on a Peterbilt will put out max amps for about 5-10 seconds after starting then drop down to 28-40 amps. I'll stop by the shop today and grab my multi-meter and check what mine does this afternoon. I don't expect it to be any different.
