So my cruise wont work I did the cruise control test I found with the search botton ...So when I do the test and hold the OFF button down for about 30 seconds iI do Get the 5 flashes indacating a bad servo ...

I want to replace the servo myself has anyone done this and did it fix the problem??? the dealer wants 350.00 to replace the servo ..

Are you talking about the 'Speed Control Actuator' that in the steering wheel?

 

The servo is under the hood. It has the control cable that actuates the throttle.

sorry torkum was busy last night but projectSHO89 is correct it is under the hood ..i was looking for some tips on the replacement but I took a look at it and it seems that you just remove 2 bolts and unplug the wiring harness and unhook the cable then put it back together ....i'm getting the part today and ill post later if it was an easy fix and if it worked ..

the part was 154.00 + tax using the good buddy deal (used my buddy's shop discount)

I got it fixed.. its not a tough job at all two 8mm bolts and three torxs head screws and disconnect the cruise cable and its out ...looks like water got in the servo because it was all rusty and corroded inside the o-ring that seals it up was pinched so ill call for one tommorrow....
