The only issue I had to work around was the deciding what hardware to use to bolt that lower valance lip on, since I didn't get anything with the package from Certifit...I think 10 3/8" x 1" bolts with corresponding lock washers and lock nuts hold it all together quite nicely considering the stealership told me the fastener clips (like those holding the upper valance) aren't stocked these days.

Ok so you don't have tow hooks, but if you put them on, would they fit correctly?

The tow hooks can always be added (the holes will be there) you may just need a new lower valance panel.

The front bumper should be swapable with the 04-05. When we order a Frame from Ford for a 04-05 it requires that you replace the rear bumper and brackets but it never says anything about the front bumper. Ford changed their frame manufacturer in 06 and they were not able to make the 04-05 Frame. If the Front bumper would not fit to a 06 frame then it would be in the list of parts that are required to be changed. Here is the Ford TSB 06-10-9

So based off of that information, A 04-05 bumper will fit on an 06 frame with all the correct parts. Bumper, brackets, valance, hardware, etc...

Give it a shot and let us know how it turns out.

I could not find any pre existing wires on my 06 XLT to hook up fog lights. I guess I'm going to splice into the headlight wires. Doing it this way, will I need a relay and wiring harness?

Thanks,
