Factory alarm settings

Does anyone know how to adjust the alarm settings or know of a WEB site where I can research? I have a 2004 F150 super cab.

The problem is when I lock my truck the alarm is set and during the middle of the night it goes off for some reason. Because it keeps waking me and my neighbors up in the middle of the night I’m not able to lock my truck. Any help would be appreciated.

My alarm is too sensitive or something because the last couple of mornings around 5am or so it will just go off...I can't figure out what is setting it off. Its not a car because my dads car is very loud and has never set it off...I guess I just want to adjust the sensitivity to see if that is it. HELP please

The codealarm factory alarm is junk, mine failed after less than 3 years. Ford/Codelarm wouldn't replace it, even though it was still covered. I wasn't going to pay for another junk one.

Do you have any aftermarket electronics such as a new radio?

When one of my dogs barks every once in a while it triggers a warning vs a full alarm. I think the pitch of her bark sets it off. Weird.

No I don't have anything aftermarket electronically on the truck at all. I don't really care if I just have to disconnect the thing...I just don't know how to do it and I don't want to have to run to the dealership.

If that's so then why not just lock the doors without activating the alarm?

I assume the only way to do that is to not use the key fob but I don't think that will work. I will try it. Even so, why do that? I just want to get the thing fixed I guess. Thanks

Why do that? Huh?

Because you said "... I don't really care if I just have to disconnect the thing..." and, therefore, I offered a suggestion that would address the issue at hand.

Locking the doors manually will NOT activate the alarm hence directly addressing your concerns raised earlier.

Nevermind...

Sorry just a miscommunication, what I meant by just wanting it fixed, is that I just don't want it to go off randomly anymore. I tried just locking the truck with the button inside and when I do that the alarm activates in like 30 sec. I hit button and then 30 sec later there is a small honk and I see the light blinking.
???
