code alarm remote start / security system problems

I have a 2007 supercrew that just had the code alarm gold security system and remote start installed. The ford dealer installed the system which works great with one exception. When you exit the truck and dont arm the system, it arms itself. You come back to the truck you think is unarmed and trip the alarm when you open the door. All of the wires are hooked up correctly and code alarm cant even seem to figure it out. My dealer is currently working on a truck with the identical system to mine that exhibits the same problem. Has anyone got any ideas as to what the problem may be with the package or the 2007 truck . The passive arming feature in the programming is off, so that is not the problem. Any info or help is appreciated.

code alarm sucks ***, i had it installed in my eclipse and the damn thing armed itself with the engine running while i was warming the car one morning after i had shut it off to get in the car, i`d say take it out or you`re gonna have more problems in the futre. i`d go with a Clifford myself

not sure what Fordguybob is talking about I have never had any problems with mine maybe it was his install this is my 2nd F150 and 2nd gold alarm anyway if it's not the programing then it's a bad box have them swap it out before that make sure they are using the right programing the new gold alarms do not program the same as the older ones.
