Angry Ford 150 won't start

I have a Ford 150 XL year (2000) and it starts without any problem only after it's been sitting for hours (at least 12 hours sometimes a day). I changed the spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, just like a tune-up. Once the truck starts I can drive around without any problem except the engine runs high. Any idea....... I really appreciate it....... Thanks

Try cleaning the EGR, it may be sticking open.

Sticky IAC valve. Really common.

i just had problems with my truck, perhaps you could try replacing the Ignition Control Module. have you had the codes checked on it, scan it and you might be able to diagnose it throught that.
