start there.
get a fuse block
something similar to
will work. get whats best for your application though. A google search for "Fuse Block" will do fine. do some research before getting into this.
beyond that run a main cable(s) off the battery to supply power to it. Just pick up a battery cable from autozone and cut it to the length you need.
doing this solves MANY issues you will find with wiring direct to the battery. besides the mess and overall unclean look many people end up with you can also avoid alot of corrosion problems from cheap connectors that cant handle the power direct from the battery terminal.
