98 f150 headlight wiring schematic
hey every one,
just bought a 98 f150 two weeks ago, and i am slowy getting it ready for a vehichle inspection, who ever owned it before me took the stock fog lights off and put after market ones on , but when they sold the truck they took the lights off , so i had to buy a replacement set , hooked everything up but they dont work, some of the wiring has been molested , but i am thinking it might be a bad switch, so if any one has the schematic for the headlight switch and fog circuit i would be very gratefull

These ought to give you what you need:
1998 F150 Headlight Schematic.pdf
1998 F150 Foglight Schematic.pdf
1998 F150 Switch Testing.pdf
If you need anything else, just say so.
Note that the fogs are only supposed to be on when the headlights are turned on, the low beams are selected, and the foglight switch is on unless the system was modified (a rather common mod).
