Accesory fuse and CB hook up ?
Hey guys I am hooking up a CB radio to my truck and it says to connect the hot wire to an accesory fuse spot on the box...well I found and open spot that isnt being used and put the hot line into it and the CB fires up but my problem is getting the hot wire to stay in that position it is very loose and easily pulled out...How can I get it to stay?
Think I got it figured out...hooked it in with the fuse to hazards so I can always have power too it...will probably change that after the 1st time I leave it on and drain the battery

One thing Fords are notorious for is electrical noise from the fuel pump. You are MUCH better off using an inline noise filter mouted under the hood, and route your power directly to the battery, with a fuse holder close to the battery...
Having said that, my '04 does not seem to have the fuel pump noise (but my '00 Ranger sure did!), and I went straight to the lighter power.
