anyway to disengage this...annoying as hell to me...i'll put it on when I am ready to put it on stop chiming at me?

 

Believe it or not there are detailed instructions in your owners manual! It is a ridiculous process of buckling and unbuckling about 10 times. They did not make it easy , which is a way for Ford to escape all liability. I have done it though, so I assure you, it works.

Check your owners manual.

 

There is got to be a speaker in the plugged into the fuse box chimming, you may also be able to unplug it at the seatbelt

On my wifes 03 Exp, you can remove the fuse..Only problem is that the fuse is used for the airbags also.

 

Your right I do **** excellence and just to prove it I pissed on the fuse box and I'll be damned if that thing doesnt chime anymore....Shake and Bake


But really thanks for the heads up on the owners manual check...got it turned off finally...that is so annoying to me
