Hit brakes, interior lights come on? HELP! ASAP!

My 99 f-150 has an issue that drives me nuts, especially at night.. Whenever I hit the brake pedal, the brake lights come on but so does every light that comes on when the door is open. The two door lights, the dome light and the outside light on the brake light comes on. Whenever I open my door, the brake lights come on. Whats going on here???!?!? I have a guy coming to look at my truck tommorrow to buy it and now I have to deal with this!!

The ground wire from the CHMSL/dome harness is broken or corroded or loose. Pull the dome lamp down & inspect the wiring, &/or pull the CHMSL out, pull the wiring grommet out, pull the connector out, & inspect the black wire. Ultimately, it grounds in the R kick panel, but you can add a ground there in the roof.

Pull the kick panels and inspect your ground connections there. You'll likely find that your Jersey conditions have rotted something out.
