help with installing fog lights

Hi everyone....i have a 2002 screw i installed a harley valance and fogs....i want to do a clean factory job ....i found the harness for the fogs under the fenders and i'm buying a factory headlight switch with the pull for fogs option....anyway my question is when i install the headlight switch is there wiring to connect the fogs?....is it just a plug n play thing or do i have to do any kind of splicing

Plug and play.

If my 03 XL had all that wiring, I'm sure a SCrew is P/P.

Just swap switches. That's all.

Don't forget to add the fuse and relay for the fog lamps. Don't know if this was included from the factory in AlfredB18's truck or not. Just something to check when working on it.

Here is the wiring diagram for the 2001 fog lamps, should be the same for 00-03.

Notice the 3 fuses, and the relay that are installed to make the fog lamps work.

OK COOL.....ya i checked and both relays and fuses are there....so i'll see what happends...anything eles i might need to get em workin?

Oddly enough, my truck had all that jazz there for the fogs already.

Relays, wiring, you name it. I jumped on getting my fogs and valance the next day when I saw that.

The only relative headscratcher was deciding what to use for fog lamp mounting hardware. 5/16" flange nuts, lockwashers, and 1" long bolts, I believe made it work for me...

Now to order those pieces for DRL's and paint those mirrors and cobble up some harnesses for those signal mirrors.
