I want to install a light in my bed...Help!

I would like to install a light, or lights in the bed of my truck. When I raise my tonneau, cant see a thing. I guess what I am really interested in, is where to tie the wires in. Also what would be a good light. I know a flashlight would work. Put that in so I wouldnt get smarta$$ comments.

I used to use the "tap" lights when I had a cap on mine. You know, those round lights that have sticky tape on the back and you just push on them to turn them on and off. They have led ones now at any WalMart and the batteries last forever. Its the easiest way to go if you just need enough light to see stuff. If you need light to work outside and light up an area, you'd probably be better off with hardwire flood lights.

all i did was rewire the white lights in the back and put them on a switch so i can turn them on when ever i want instead of just with the dome light

The tap lights worked well but to bright as far as I'm concerned. If you want something that works off batteries look in the hardware section of a Wally world (yeah I know most people hate'em) anyway in the hardware section they have the multi-bulb LED lighte with batteries that stick on and produce plenty of light.. Just point a couple into bed and stick the on the underside if it is a hard cover if not find a good spot where they won't be hit and are easy to reach.
