Power windows do work when hot

I have 2000. On sunny summer days when the interior of the cab gets hot, my power windows do not work. After about 5 minutes of running the A/c and cooling down the cab they will work. Seems like there is some thermal switch in-line that is faulty. any ideas?

I think your problem is that the rubber molding around the window is sticking to the glass and the motor isn't strong enough to break it free. Try using silicone on the window rubber and your problem should be over.

I will check that but I did not mention that the radio acts the same way, that is why I was looking for some inline thermal switch resetting after the cab cools down. According to documentation, the window and the radio appear to be on different circuits but both seem to go throught a accessory delay circuit.
