Unhappy F-150 Kr No Window Operation At All

I have 2005 King Ranch. Windows started working erratically and now they don't work at all - none of the 4 doors. Have replaced relay under hood, fuse in box on passenger kick panel - still nothing. Also, the fold in mirrors are erratic - folded them in while driving - would not go back out - until I turned the truck off. Thank goodness the moon roof works so I can air it out - it is 104 degrees today. the back sliding power window has never worked though - on the same panel as moon roof.

There is power and juice to the switches - had drivers door arm panel apart - unplugged switches and plugged back in - still not working.

What would cause all of the power window switches to fail? Is it a ground in the druvers door somewhere? Like I said, there is juice to the switches. I even unplugged the battery thinking maybe the brain needed to reset.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this has stumped several people and I really don't want to run through dealer.

PLEASE HELP.

So If I get this correctly :

You replaced either the :
4x4 CW Relay
4x4 CCW Relay
DRL or DRL disable Relay
AC Relay

These are the only relays under the hood on the 04+ MY trucks.

The fuse you replaced in the Central Junction box is ? ( F401 30 A ? )

If you were looking for the Accessory Delay Relay, that is in the Central Junction Box ( R02 )

Circuit 400 ( Light Blue w/ Black Stripe ) is fed from F401 to splice S344

At Splice S344, this is where power is take to the Master Window Adjust switch, to the Power sliding rear window, and to the Roof Opening panel module.

If the power moon roof works fine, I would take a guess that Splice S344 is good, and work back from there ( SWAG that the power rear slider is another problem at this point, since it has never worked ).

If you know you have power on Circuit 400 at the Master window adjust switch ( meter on pin 8 of the connector ) the only 2 things that I can think of :

1. Problem with the Driver's switch ( the switches are in series via the Driver's switch )
1.1. Check for power from the switch at the back of the connector on :
1.1.1. Tan w/ light blue stripe wire on pin #6 when pressing down on the driver's window switch
1.1.2. White w/ Black stripe wire on pin #5 when pressing up on the driver's window switch.
** This might require sliding a piece of 18 or 20 AWG wire in the back of the connector, depending on the size tip on your meter.
If you have power through on the test above, check #2 below

2. The ground from the Master Adjust switch
2.1. Check, do you have illumination on the panel with the key in the run position ?
This is the same ground for the LEDs by the EVTM page, so if the LEDs light on the switch, the power window motor should be getting ground, it is inside the switch ( unless the Master switch is bad, as #1 is testing ).

If you want to test the driver's power window motor :
1. Unplug the Master window switch.
2. Apply power to the Tan w/ light blue stripe wire on connector pin #6 ( not pin #7, that is to the pass side window, yes that is 2 of the same color coded wires next to each other )
3. Apply Ground to the White w/ Black stripe wire on connector pin #5

The driver's side window should go down. reverse the power & ground colors noted above, and the window should go up ( hope I read the switch diagram correctly ).

I am thinking Master Window Adjust switch problem, but tests 1 & 2 above should flush that out.

The power mirrors use the same ground ( G303 ) as the power windows. When you are having problems with them, aside from the power fold, do the mirrors work ( up / down / in / out ) ?

Thank you for the info, will definitely try this.

You are correct about the fuses replaced. And yes, the mirrors will adjust up, down, in & out but FOLDING them is erratic - sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.

I will post back with update, and again, thank you!

Broken ground in drivers door

The problem with no windows working turned out to be a broken ground wire in the driver's door, which in turn blew a $50 fuse in the kick panel (I believe part of the GEM because all the "regular" fuses were good).

What a hassle...............
