Water got into a plugwell and has shorted out the COP/plug.

A quick scan will tell you which cylinder is misfiring.

You'll likely get lucky and only have to remove the COP, blow out the plugwell and COP to dry it, then reinstall with plenty of dielectric grease.

Worse case, a new COP and plug for each misfiring cyclinder.

COP=Coil On Plug. No plug wires, individual coil for each cylinder.

You've got two misfiring cylinders because two of them got doused.

Those are both easy ones. Pull 'em out and dry them out with compressed air. You might get lucky.

Talking its over...

Ok here is the scoop... waited home till wed afternoon... thats 3 full days and they never even looked at it! guy said sorry, you can pick it up and take it elsewhere... so I did... ran down, grabbed the keys and smoked em... that place is off my list! Got on the road, light was still on but wasn't missing anymore, running good... got to a ford dealer and told him the story... he said if its running good don't touch it... he turned off the service light... he said he sees it all the time... alot with guys washing with pressure washers... even the detailers at their place! anyway he said after 6 days they must have dried out... went home, hooked up the boat grabbed a 12 pack and went fishing! caught a 12"er! thanks for the input, all very informative...

Cylinder 2 and 5 are at the front of the motor and would see water soon in a rain/ high water situation. The fan can even pull/push enough water onto the motor.
The boots are not sealing at the plug wells, very good.
The COP have potting on their tops. If this is cracked through, water can affect them.
I would at least inspect them for possible faults or you can get into the same situation again when it's not so convient.
