Dome Light Power

Anyone know from personal experience or otherwise if there is an easily accessable dome light/interior light line that is active when the door is open anywhere under the dash? I want to hook up the puddle lights on my new power fold mirrors to come on when the interior lights are on. Just don't want to be poking around for hours trying to find one wire.

Thanks guys

Just pick it up off the door switch.

To find the pos trigger, check the driver's side kick panel for a black w/ light blue wire. This is the factory circuit for the puddle lamps, I think it is there by the hood latch ( behind the plastic cover ).

EVTM cell 124 :

EDIT:

A few google searches for circuit 53 I found that this was on the pass side on the '99-'03 body styles. I am now drawing a blank if it was moved to the driver's side on the '04 ( excluding heritage & L ).
I'll keep looking, I thought this question already came up in a thread. One that Brad was working on ???

found a thread with '04+.

don't know if this is the best place to get the circuit, but it is one confirmed place.
