I have a 2001 Supercrew with a set of LED lights under the body and under the bed cover. I tied mine into the door light on the drivers side door. When the key fob is used to unlock the doors the LEDS also come on. The door panel is not to hard to remove couple screws on the bottom of the panel pop the door lock panel off and the panel around the door handle and remove the screws under these 2 items. Hope this helps.

Got a Year, Trim level, and cab type for the truck ?
On the '01 to '03 I seem to recall a lead for illuminated running boards.

Sorry for the delay, work got in the way today.

The quickest place that I could find the interior lamp on an '05 SCab is in the C-Pillar ( or is that a B pillar ? ).

On the driver's side is a connector, C314, which has the interior lamp circuit # 53 which is Black w/ a light blue stripe.

The picture is a Screw, but the location is the same :

The connector :

There should be a rubber body plug just below the connector, which should still be inline with the running boards.

Pin #1 in C314 black is the ground circuit, so you can take both here to drop straight down.
