Question 97 Lariat Autolamp Function Not Working?

Alright I found over the last few weeks that my Autolamp function isn't working anymore. Everything works fine electrically but this. Anyway, I'm a bit worried because 2 months ago I had a guy replace the heater core and now I'm curious if he would have forgot to hook back up the sensor (which I read is up under the dash)? Since I'm going on assumptions and I didn't do the heater core replacment myself is there a way I can tell that it's hooked up? I'm not 100% if they have worked since the heater core replacment or not. However, I don't really want to take the dash out to fix it. This is what scared me from doing the heater core myself. I can live without the autolamp function, however I sure would like to know if I can easily fix it without removing the dash? It also maybe something else all together.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Thumbs up Problem Found

I took the circular / long oval section of the dash out (Up top in front of the passenger seat) and the autolamp sensor wasn't plugged in securly. I hope this helps someone else.
