Wiring up interior neons

I got a couple neon light tubes this weekend and they plug into the cigarrete lighter and i plan on gettin a third one...my plan is to find the constant power wire that runs to the cigarrete lighter, then run a wire from that to a switch and then a wire from the switch to both neon tubes...ik this will light up and work but my question is that will the system be safe?? can 3 of them tubes be all wired straight into one?? will it blow any fuses or anything?? i just want to take all the precautions before messin up my truck...anywayz thanx for the info...o and also if theres a better or easier way to hardwire them lmk..thanx. wes

neons draw very little current so this setup isnt that bad. if anything all you would need to do is put a little bit bigger fuse because that cuircut is now drawing more ampres. another way to do it would do be to use a relay if you kno how they work...
