Turn Signals!!!!

I have a 2001 F150 Supercrew 5.4L and a couple of days ago I hopped in my truck to head to school and noticed that my turn signals were not working when I would step on the break. They work when I am not on the break and the hazards work when I am and am not stepping on the break. When I am stepping on the break my turn signals just freeze and then start working again when I let off. I called my grandpa and he said that there just might be moisture in my lines. He told me to see if they would start working after it got nice outside but I have had no such luck. Can anyone help? I don't really want to take it to a mechanic if I can fix it myself.

Have you had anyone watch all the lights when you are putting the brakes on or when you are turning the turn signals on? You may just have a brake bulb out.

Thanks for the advice...I tried it and all my break lights work. Anyone got any other advice? The problem still isn't fixed and my mechanic is out of town now.

sounds like the brake light switch may be faulty? If the lights work it might be that

good luck

Can't be the brake light switch, her brake lights work. Maybe MFS or flasher?
