LED bulbs, problem

I posted in the wrong section, lets try here instead --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I installed LED bulbs in my tails and used those load resistors to stop the fast blinking problem... well it all works good but when the parking lights are on, and i hit the brake, the dont get brighter, they stay the same, i took the resistor off and they work just like they should, but they blink fast... Maybe the resistor I have is too big? Who else has been through this? I dont know much about resistors

try replacing the blinker relay with a heavy duty one. The same problem exists when towing a trailer sometimes and the heavy duty relay solves the issue. Also check your ground or add a ground for the light. This could also cause the problem.

Had the same problem at work when we put LED taillights in utility bed. Pick up an EP-27 electronic flasher (got ours at NAPA) and the turn signals should flash normally without the load resistors. The EP-27 is also available from www.superbrightleds.com
