Unhappy Cb Nosie Problems with amps running

I have a Cobra model 29WXNWST and i just recently installed it into my 97 f150 and im having some problems with it im a rookie when it comes to cb's but i also have 2 amps for my subs and my compontens and i get very bad receptican when i have my amps on and have to turn my squelch half way up just to get all the fuzzy nosie out of it. i know with amps that if A you have a bad ground you will get the same noise out of your speakers and B if you run your power wire with the RCA's you have the same problem i ran the wires to the cb power from the bat. and ground to the frame of the truck. i was also woundering about a noise blocker if this may help? any feedback would help me ALOT thanks for the input

Unhook your antenna and see if the noise goes away. If it doesnt, the noise is coming through your power wires and you may be able to get rid of it by placing a filter on your power wires right at your CB. If it does go away, it is coming through your antenna an you will have to find the source of the noise(amps) and filter it there
