Reposted Battery Question

I posted this in the 04+ forum with no response, figured I would post on here to see if I could get a response.

On my 04 scab when I use my remote to lock the doors the headlights and fog lights used to flash. Then the headlights stopped flashing and only the fogs flashed. Now last night the fogs quit flashing and only the parking lights, turn signals, flash. I am thinking that the truck knows that the battery is going bad. What do you guys think???? BTW the truck has the original battery in it.

If the bat is bad I am going to go with a optima, should I go with the red or yellow top??

i got mentioned this earlier cause it slipped my mine but....just bump your thread if its extremely important

Red top is designed for starter and general electrical support to stock electrical system. The Yellow Top is designed as a secondary battery that can take many deep discharge cycles and not fail like a typical OEM battery.
