Question 2004 F150 SuperCrew

I am having an issue with my 2004 F150 SuperCrew.
The lighter and 12V power outlet in the dash do not work. I have checked Fuse position #41 and everything looked normal i.e. 20A fuse. The 12V power outlet in the back works fine any suggestions?

check the back of the plug and be sure the harness is plugged in to it. cause when I returned to the dealer for maintenence, got home and plugged in an inverter for a cooler, it didn't work. Come to find out the clip that held the harness in the plug had gotten broke off somehow.

What are you using to test with ?

If you are using the same item, such as a cell phone charger cord, check that the fuse in the tip is not blown.

The reason I bring this up, is you say the cigar lighter, and the power point both don't work, but thee are 2 separate fuses. You got F41 for the DLC and cigar lighter, but the instrument panel power point is Fuse #F39.

With it being a SCrew, try what you are testing with in the rear power point, which is Fuse #F37.

I would guess that what you are using to test has the problem, not 2 ( and until you check the rear ) 3 separate fuses.
