Speed input

Anybody know the location and wire color for a speed input I can use for an aftermarket Nav system on my 06. I've used the cruise control before but don't have any wiring diagrams for this truck. Thanks

The PCM has a VSS out. this is PCM pin # 63, Gray w/ black stripe wire.

This is what connects to the factory audio unit on the factory radio as the same Gray w/ black stripe wire, on he Audio unit connector pin #14.

I don't know if this is the type input you need or not.

This should be for the speed volume control on the factory audio unit.

There are also some VSS type sensors ( Output Shaft Speed / OSS -sensor ) on the transmission, and a rear axle speed sensor.

Don't know if the VSS output from the PCM to the factory radio will work for what you need on the after market Nav system or not.

Thanks SSCULLY. I'll try that one since its right by the nav unit. It should work as all I need is a speed pulse.
