SO I just bought a 93 4x4. I have a 95, but the 93 is an xtra cab, has the 5.8, and was just the right price.Upgrading from the 4.9 but that engine is bullet-proof and I will be sad to see it go. Anyway a disclosed problem with the selector switch was given to me.

I went to my local dealer and they say the switch is discontinued, but a dealer an hour away has it and he gave me the number. Well I called and they did have it and it's $297.00!!!!

I did a search and found on online but its for a 93-94 bronco. So here is the question. Will it fit on the F150. It looks identical, and the part number is almost identical as well. Just the first 4 letters are different, but I am assuming that is a vehicle identifier. Any confirmation on that? It is rediculiosly cheaper. Any help would be appreciated.
