truck will not start

Angry truck will not start

help. truck will turn over but not catch.the "theft" light blinks rapidly and the odometer reads "dashes".(---------)
went home and got the other set of keys thinking something is wrong with the one i use all the time but, no dice. had to call a wrecker cause it was in a unsavory area.
any ideas????

Lots of them. Obviously, check for fuel starvation. Listen for fuel pump with key turned to "on". Check any fuses related to the PCM. Look for disconnected vaccuum lines. Check for spark. There are dozens of things that could make your truck not start...

problem fixed . chip in key went bad.

Clear that fault code now.
If you have an inspetion it will show a fault and the state won't allow it to pass even though it has nothing to do per say with the emmissions.
It will show a anti theft fault, just clear it. It was caused by your trying to start it and the PATS not finding a chip code.

I gotta ask - Why didn't your other key work?
