Need Help Please

My entire instrument panel/dashboard lights/stereo backlight/ac backlight and the outside turn signals in the front and back of the expedition... turn on and off every 2-3 seconds(flicker) when i have my headlights on.
Any suggestion how to fix this?

It would take a lot of research to see what might be common to all the areas, so my thoughts are a bad ground in the harness at some point, a circuit breaker that either is going bad or is passing just a little to much current and keeps tripping.
I would try to see if a lead on it could be developed by disabling one area at a time and see what effect it has on the problem. Then decide from there.
Maybe someone else has had the problem and knows the fix they needed.

Expedition Dashboard lights

The dashboard lights turn on and off every 3 or 4 seconds, flickers.
Im referring to the entire dashboard.
The stereo and AC both work fine.,
THis only happens when i have the headlamps on.

Can anyone please tell me where the R304 Relay is located in a Ford Expedition 2003 Eddie B???

My "guess" is a bad headlight switch. Dashlight power goes right thru headlight sw to Battery Junction Box (hot at all times). Battery saver relay wouldn't save much power by turning off dash lights. IMHO

It looks like the battery saver relay is to prevent running down battery when you leave the interior overhead light on or leave the doors open.........and turns off those lights only........

There should be a location guide on the inside of the fuse box cover and shows all the id numbers for the fuses and relays.

It just says see owners manual

thanks ford

My guess is faulty headlight switch, dimmer switch, flasher unit, or maybe you have a short in the headlight circuit somewhere....
