Hey guys,
Ok this is probly gonna be stupid, but I took the steering column covers off (top and bottom) and can see where the headlight stalk enters the steering column, but how do I access the MFS itself.

I assumed it would be right there after taking the steering column cover off but there appears to be more to remove?

Thanks,
Malek

Yup it was stupid, I found the two screws that when removed, allow you to disconnect the electrical fittings of the MFS and then remove it.

I did find inside a very burnt up and blackened metal connection that appears to come into connection with the switching of the high beams on and off. I am going to go to the wreckers tomorrow to find a working piece or just end up buying a new MFS from Ford.

Thanks for all your posts. This is the first problem I have had with my truck and its great to know there are all you guys out there to assist.
